You see I would be willing to actually help you and run a board or boards properly and not just constantly use the place as a way to wind up Nonny.

But here's the kicker. There's no point.

You see, while the place is active to a degree, ppd etc, the sad fact is, it's pretty much us same 10 people.

I'm honestly surprised that since it's pretty much a direct continuation of the old site, that more of the regulars didn't come over. Ponyville is such a different atmosphere I'm surprised half went there, even if it was already established.

And you've been up a while now, and there seems to be no signs of the masses coming back. Plus the sites called Ponychan again and well, 90% of it isn't pony haha.

Regardless of people's feelings of Nonny etc, it just doesn't seem at the moment at least, there's anything needed to be moderated aside from jannies removing illegal content.

Which BTW I haven't seen any of even posted so why you said that comment to me the other day I don't know.

So , at the moment the site just seems to be in a limbo state. Need to persuade some of the oldies back like Maroon etc first

1) Rather than allow the community to continue, Toybox decided to nuke the entire thing, because that selfish failed abortion wasn't going to let anyone else on earth (not just me, but anyone) be in charge of managing the future of Ponychan if that person's name didn't start with T and rhyme with Oybox. Drove the Titanic right into the iceberg, and sealed the cockpit doors to make sure no one else could take the wheel and steer it out, took credit for all the other people's work, and then took the ship down to the bottom of the sea with her. Fuck that clown.
2) The complete lack of actual community help when the time came. People who offered to help and didn't. People who could have helped get the shit working within days/hours and didn't. People who could have stepped up within the community and didn't.
3) Kiff, the anon who came out of fucking nowhere. Inadvertently stole what little 'thunder' there was for this site, by putting up his own and siphoning off would-be users. He used what info I'd posted about how I initially got the thing working at all, and then rushed to make a clone site on a host where the fucking planets aligned and the thing worked out of the box. Rather than helping me get the very broken version of Ponychan I'd posted working, or working together at all, he decided to scoop the project.
4) Zeke, who in his official capacity, made sure that all of the official announcements about the closing of Ponychan didn't mention this site at all, but did mention all of the others (Kiff's, ponyville, etc.). People were even pointing this out on comments in places like EQD. I don't think this was nefarious on his part, but it certainly didn't fucking help.
5) Moony rolls out the welcome mat and changes the fucking rules of ponyville to cater to the newcomers, pulling in ALL of the serials which accounted for approximately half of all site traffic. Thereafter, the rules were selectively changed again.

Who's left?

A handful of people from Void. A handful of people who can't/won't post on ponyville. That's literally fucking it.
So it floppped? Yes. From the very first moment, thank you all for your contribution toward that inevitability. Couldn't have done it without you.
