Did they all just come to see the train?

I went to the mall after work. Bought a new scale (which I already don't like cause it says I'm even heavier than the old one did).

Yep! This was one of the scheduled stops along its tour. It's going up to Kansas City and then back west to Wyoming. I have a video but it hasn't uploaded yet.
better throw out that scale then! dumb scale can't even scale right.

You want to be in dragonball as a character with a foreign translated name of Onigiri? You'd better have graffiti of Kasen ready cause they just don't prefer her. "They tried to stop him from digging a lazy river that circumnavigated the entire planet, later that very year Moloids would break through the crust of the earth beneath an underwater city, beginning the Greelien extra solar invasion."

>>8515 the one with thousands of people? I think I placed around 140th. over all not as well as I would have liked.
there's another grind event now. if I were at home I'd knock it out of the park. but I'm stuck here, so I'm not going to win dick.
get the brakes worked on for one of my mom's vans, pick up her newly spayed cat an hour away, plant several trees before the freeze, deal with the city manager over apparent internet lines that were cut on the property that weren't supposed to be here, the constant taking care of my step-dad, and other random chores around the house

(ID: 340f69)Country code: blank.gif, country type: blank, valid: 8517

>>8516
140th isn't bad with so many participants.

That sounds like you'll be very busy indeed. Why are there illegal internet lines?

(ID: 5818b1)Country code: us, country type: geoip, valid: 1  8518

>>8517 it wouldn't be, but I saved up tons of resources for many weeks, and then wasn't able to use it effectively because insufficient time to strategize. so I just had to dump it with little thought.
before my mom moved here, there were apparently lines laid across the ground in the back yard, on the property rather than on the public alley between the yards. Over time this entire area was overgrown, and the lines were hidden under dense brush. We paid someone to clear the brush on the property, and they shredded at least one hidden line. We identified one as a thin fiber optic line. it was cut after business hours, and the business next door lost internet the next day, possibly due to the cut wires. we don't know the source of the lines; possibly from the business that ran out of this house at one point. otherwise, there's no reason a loose line should have been just laid across the ground on private property.

(ID: 340f69)Country code: blank.gif, country type: blank, valid: 8519

>>8518
Ah, so they weren't even dug in, they were just lying there? Now that's a new one. I guess someone wanted to save money.

(ID: 5818b1)Country code: us, country type: geoip, valid: 1  8520

>>8519 a very long time ago, a small ISP ran out of the house where my mom now lives. I cleared out the switch boards and cable tunnels inside the house. There's a giant antenna out back for some related purpose. But the fiber optic lines run parallel to the alley and not to the house or to the antenna. And from past experience, we know that the utility companies have laid and left lines on the ground in the alley. So we don't know how the fiber optic line under the brush ended up there.

(ID: 340f69)Country code: blank.gif, country type: blank, valid: 8521

>>8520
I see. Well, the city better fix everything!

(ID: 5818b1)Country code: us, country type: geoip, valid: 1  8522

>>8521 that's why we have to meet with the manager.
I'm going to be stuck here another 2 and a half weeks. the dealship diagnosed a blown head gasket on my car. but since the car has been a maintenance nightmare, and because my family needs me to have a reliable car more than I do, we're doing a 3-way car swap. My car's getting fixed under warranty and then being traded to the dealership. That's going toward a new van for my mom and step-dad. And then I'll get their current van. I'm not particularly happy with it, but it's probably for the best.

(ID: 340f69)Country code: blank.gif, country type: blank, valid: 8523

>>8522
You really had lots of bad luck with that car. Didn't you only get it last year?

I hope the van will be more reliable.

>>8523 just under 2 years ago. but it was in the shop for 1/3 of a year right after I got it.

(ID: 340f69)Country code: blank.gif, country type: blank, valid: 8525

>>8524
What's wrong with driving a van? Too big to get around with?

(ID: 5818b1)Country code: us, country type: geoip, valid: 1  8526

>>8525 I don't mind vans for most things. but I drive for Uber. that means getting the worst riders. entitled crowds of people who will cram in way beyond capacity and I can't do shit about it or risk being false reported to Uber. they leave their trash in the back-back since they know I can't see them. then after all that, it's a bitch to clean, both inside and out. extra hassle, for no benefit.
