Lately, I've been really into images that have been posted that are either screenshots of leaked show assets or exported/constructed from leaked show assets. I track em down, sometimes post em to Derpibooru if they aren't on there yet.

Problem is, these images are old. Bronies have been leaking stuff for over a decade, now. A lot of them are either not archived on Derpibooru, not properly tagged on Derpibooru, or not archived at all aside from a super crispy JPEG thumb from Desuarchive (or whatever other imageboard archive I'm looking at).

Any advice on making this hunt easier? Crispy JPEG is related, taken from a Dvach thread from 2017.

Unfortunately, r/mylittleredacted is mostly the newer leaks + episodes getting leaked early. For now, I'm searching for screenshots (like this other crunchy jpeg from that Dvach thread) and renders.

I've got a bulk image downloader browser extension, which helps a lot with the occasional reverse image search hit on a big image dump on sites like EQD. However, it's not as reliable for imageboard archives. It seems to bug out a little when I try that.

Searching the "deleted from derpibooru" tag on Twibooru has thankfully netted me some good HQ images for archival so far.

I may post more examples of the types of images I'm looking to archive HQ versions of later.

Aight. Found some more neat stuff by scraping Desuarchive - still looking for un-jpeged Daybreaker.

May or may not see if I can open up some of the leaked Flash assets myself.

In the meantime, if anyone knows where the Hell in the directory structure (of the 2019 leaks) the mythical "Twilight Cums.fla" animatic is, please let me know. Pic related, part of what I got from the scrape.

Hoard them like a dragon and use the leaks related to animation assets to study how the show's puppets work. I'm a huge nerd.
I mean - I'll share the occasional single image with others, or upload something neat to Trixiebooru, but there are over a thousand images in my collection now. Thank fuck for Hydrus...

Unless two anons were pulling that leak thread's leg (which is entirely possible), somewhere within the 2019 leaks there are production assets for Magical Mystery Cure - and among those, there's a certain file where one of the animators decided to goof around a little.

Part of the reason I'm so into these leaks is that I'm messing around with a slightly obscure piece of animation software to see if I can make at least one complete pony puppet with it. I've gotten the furthest with a mare base, but I've learned a lot since I started on it and it would do me good to start over.

Also, seeing people messing with the leaked puppets is funny. I've got a whole tag (within Hydrus) for that kinda thing. Look at this guard with her sammich.

With my own puppets, once I actually finish one? I've had quite a few thoughts pop into my head while showering or having breakfast.
As previously mentioned, I'm a huge geek. The kind of geek who's got a big heart for FOSS.The kind of geek who uses an even lesser-known fork of less-known software. Behold, a WIP "evil alicorn" puppet based on one of the two remaining HQ images from that Dvach thread. They still exist on Trixiebooru... and it's possible that the others are somewhere on Twibooru (under the "deleted from [Trixiebooru]" tag). Just gotta look.
