>>9674I've never played Harvest Moon before, but there are days and nights that go by, sort of like in Animal Crossing. Each day starts at 6:00am and ends at a maximum of 2:00am the following day.
IRL time each day is about 13-14 minutes or so. Unlike the Animal Crossing games, there is an overall arcing story to the game, (Not that animal crossing is bad or anything!) though from what I've seen Animal Crossing is a lot more heavy on the character customization and village customization. In Stardew there is a fixed number of town's folk, and a few others if you download the expansion mod.
I'm doing a vanilla run for my first go for fishing/crab fishing as my main source of income. I also might focus on animals over crops. The next run I think I'll focus more mining heavy with plants over animals.
With Haley as my wife, I will live as a fucking KING. (She apparently cooks you really good food items in the game. Also she has like the biggest character development out of all of the bachelors/bachelorettes. She goes from a mean city girl to one of the sweetest and most sincere characters in the game and becomes ride or die for your character. I guess in pony terms she goes from a bitchy version of Rarity to a kind fusion between Rarity and Applejack after she embraces the country farm life. From enemies to friends. The loyalty is off the charts.)
