>>8990>Why do you think that?It eliminates the need for a 2-party system.
>What does Amendment 5 (and 1) contain? What is it about?ANNUAL ADJUSTMENTS TO THE VALUE OF CERTAIN HOMESTEAD EXEMPTIONS.
Proposing an amendment to the State Constitution to require an annual adjustment for inflation to the value of current or future homestead exemptions that apply solely to levies other than school district levies and for which every person who has legal or equitable title to real estate and maintains thereon the permanent residence of the owner, or another person legally or naturally dependent upon the owner is eligible. This amendment takes effect January 1, 2025.
It was a joke.
>Why does the US not have Native American representatives in state institutions? It does in some cases. I'm originally from Oklahoma and still spend a considerable amount of time there. The Native American representation is massive. especially after the recent SCOTUS decision returned jurisdiction of Indian Territory to the tribes. State buildings fly the tribal flags equal to the state flag. They have their own courts the operate alongside the state, not under it.
But the Left can't galvanize them like they do with other groups, because the tribes aren't going to neatly fall in line behind some abstract concept of "Native American" or "oppressed", especially in a state where they are not at all oppressed. The Choctaws have their own interests. The Cherokee have their own interests. The Apache have their own interests. They aren't going to just blindly throw their support behind black/hispanic/LGBTQ causes because "they're oppressed just like I am!" So as a whole, the Left ignores them.
>How will the US pay off $35 trillion in domestic debt?Great question.
